A Druid's Duel Download Apkpure

Updated: Mar 18, 2020

About This Game Welcome to the Realm of Six Seasons, where the predictable cycle of nature's seasons has turned constantly since time began. But now, something is wrong.A bright Summer's day ends in a snowy Winter's eve. The next morning brings a burst of colorful Autumn leaves and even that is followed by a surprising deluge of Springtime rains. Something (or someone) is tampering with the precious Seasons, making a complete mess of the Realm. The Druids of the Esoteric Orders have long fostered this fertile landscape and tended to this delicate mystical balance. And it is up to Warren, a young druid fresh from his Esoteric Training, to discover what is causing this disastrous mixing of Seasons. With a game board that changes based on players’ actions, and units that each have powerful animal abilities, you’ll need to stay focused and never let your guard down.Whether it’s the single player story told across more than 130 levels, local or online multiplayer for up to 4 players, there’s enough variety for new and experienced players. The professionally composed soundtrack and recorded music brings the Six Seasons beautifully to life.Nothing is random in A Druid's Duel. A simple set of rules governs the board, allowing the game to be learned quickly, with various difficulty settings to match your current ability. But at its highest difficulty expect to spend months mastering the nuances that manipulating the board can create. 7aa9394dea Title: A Druid's DuelGenre: Indie, StrategyDeveloper:Thoughtshelter GamesPublisher:Surprise Attack Release Date: 25 Feb, 2015 A Druid's Duel Download Apkpure a druids duel The game itself is a very fun and simple strategy concept with quick rounds and decent amounts of depth considering the easy rules. I'd recommend it if you intend on playing it single player. The online multiplayer, however, is an absolute ♥♥♥♥♥how. I bought the 2 pack to play with a friend, and in the duration of one ~half hour session, we experienced the following:- Whether we were able to join each other seemed like a complete dice roll; we just had to keep making new games until one finally became visible in the games list. There's no invitation system.- Upon joining me one time, friend's game did not load the board or characters and they had to quit.- Said game then became invisible forever, despite both of us attempting restarts/rejoins.- Seemingly random server disconnects that cause your turn to be reset to the beginning.- Friend's "end turn" button completely broke; when pressed, nothing happened on my end, it only affected fairies on their end.In addition, you also have to sign up for an account JUST for this game and use their friends list system on their website if you want to play online. The online interface in general is terrible as well; there's not even any way to see who you're playing against while you're ingame, and there's no local chat (only global).Note that this was with cross-platform Windows/Linux play. I don't know if that makes it more likely to break, but broken is broken.Again, the core game is fine. This review takes into account that I bought this entirely for the online component.. Fun game. The only problem is one of variety once you've played for a while. Druids in this game come in 4 flavors: wolf, eagle, bear, and turtle. This plays like an electronic game, winning is based on controling the board and gaining momentum. Had a hard time finding other live players, so I've mostly played the AI campaign.. An awesome turn based stretegy game that's quick to get started and then becomes more challenging. Really fun!!. I was honestly looking forward to play this. The game in itself is quite interesting if it werent for the difficulty and repetitiveness. Difficulty:The whole difficulty is the enemy having a better start than you. e.g. You start with 3 basic units and the enemy with 2 basic and 2 advanced units. This may be fun at first but it gets unfair really really quick. Repetitivness: What you see is in the first level is what you get. No new units or enemies, or map based dangers.. If you're looking for a fun little game, this isn't bad. If you're looking for a strategy game, it still needs quite a bit of improvement. Every multiplayer map suffers from severe First Move Advantage, and One on One is the way I wanted to play a strategy game like this (since I found it reminiscent of chess), but this game is currently not designed for that.Single Player is just an excercise in manipulating the enemy AI to fight each other and not you. Not too much different than most other single player strategy game ecperiences, but it includes "False Path" maps that are really frustrating and can add hours onto your play time by forcing you to replay levels you already beat.Levels are small and there's no expandability or map maker. For $10 I can't really recommend it at this point in time. Wait for it to go on sale and it's a cool little diversion, or wait for the next version and we'll see if it fixes some of these problems.. I liked it until I realized that the enemy can attack a druid with an Eagle, I can't. The enemy can destroy ground under me, but in the same setup I cannot from theirs. At the point when the enemy turtle was floating in the air (I kid you not) at the end of their turn, I called quits. If the unfairness was for a plot reason, some explanation sure would have helped.. As a strategy game fan I really wanted to like this game. I completed the first campaign and somewhat enjoyed myself, although I was disappointed by the poor AI.Then I started the second campaign and I realized how poorly the single played game is. To compensate for the poor AI the developer has decided to tilt the odds very much in favour of the AI players by giving them many more units and/or more highly valued units. In addition, the AI player is given more open territory making rapid expansion much easier. As others have said, the way to win these scenarios is to trick the computer AI into fighting each other. I'm not interesting in learning these tricks, this isn't strategy gaming. So unfortunately, as a single player game, this game is a bust. I think multi player could be very enjoyable but I'm not interested in that.As I single player game I would rate this as 2 out of 10. As a multi player only game, I would rate it as 7 out of 10.. An awesome turn based stretegy game that's quick to get started and then becomes more challenging. Really fun!!
