The user interfaces within the programs are similar; aesthetics are simple and clean. The home screens of the apps include top sites, search bars, etc. The dedication to quality that Mozilla has provided to society is a deciding factor in downloading Firefox. Companies like Google and Microsoft can learn from the transparent commitment that Mozilla embodies.

Old MacBook Pro. Must use El Capitan to run Photoshop CS4. I have read that Firefox 78 will run on El Capitan. But when I search for a download site, one of two things seems to happen. Either the site indicates that I am getting 78 but I actually get 96 or I am directed to the long Mozilla list of past Firefoxes:
If I click on 78.0.1 I get a further list of about 20 links. One of them is mac/. Clicking that gives another list of links. I am getting nowhere on downloading Firefox 78 or some other Firefox that will run on this MBP. Help greatly appreciated.
If you know that v78.01 is compatible with El Capitan, then here is the ESR (Extended Support Release) version for macOS. Just select the language/region you want to access the download link (the language/region use two character codes):
Charles 4 was a major update to Charles 3, and it is a paid upgrade. Please download a trial of Charles 4; we think you're going to love it! If you would like to continue using Charles 4, you will need to purchase a license upgrade.
This software is no longer available for the download. This could be due to the program being discontinued, having a security issue or for other reasons.

These update whenever newbuilds release. We also offer unsigned nightly extensions, but most people won't need them. If you do, download the appropriate one for yourbrowser from our downloads, and then install it manually. Instructions for installation of nightly Chrome/Firefoxextensions available on our wiki. Safari instructions below.
Once the file downloads, follow the installation instructions it throws up to install this version of your device. However, bear in mind that Firefox is set for automatic updates by default. In order to ensure that this older version does not automatically update itself, you have to change the update settings.
Every old Firefox download translates to a tedious, mind-numbing repetitive task. It is the definition of too much effort for inadequate returns, especially when Method 2 will make the entire process infinitely easier. As mentioned in the introduction, it also requires no downloads.
A real device cloud, such as the one provided by BrowserStack, offers the optimal way to access older Firefox versions with the least possible time and effort. Instead of downloading older versions of Firefox, sign up for free, login, and choose from Firefox versions 32 to 97.
Now that you know how to download old versions of Firefox, you also know that you actually have to download them for website testing. The BrowserStack solution demonstrably reduces the amount of time and effort required to access real browsers for testing. The cherry on the cake is that we also offer real devices hosted on the cloud with those real browsers, so you get exact real user conditions to run tests on. You can test your websites and apps on mobile browsers as well. This ensures that you end up getting far fewer bugs than with any other testing method.
I tested this on Mac OS X 10.15 Beta3 (Beta (19A501i) and I can reproduce this with FF Release 67.0.4. The issue is not reproducible with Beta 68 and Nightly 69.0a1(2019-07-07).Also tested on firefox/candidates/68.0-candidates/build3/mac/en-US/ ( -candidates/build3/mac/en-US/) the issue is reproducible. We tested on 2 different iMacs and the issue is reproducible. This is a regression, on Mac OS X 10.15 Beta 2 the issue is not reproducible after the OS is updated to Beta 3 the issue is there.
To be clear I downloaded and installed Beta 68.0b14 which is not notarized per previous comments and build 69 is not yet available. One workaround for now is to open the package and remove the updater app. This allows Firefox to launch but of course it cannot do an update check. I will gladly wait or version 69 beta to continue testing. Right-clicking, selecting Open still fails as it is the updater app that is being rejected.
Important update about Citrix ReceiverBeginning August 2018, Citrix Receiver will be replaced by Citrix Workspace app. While you can still download older versions of Citrix Receiver, new features and enhancements will be released for Citrix Workspace app.
It provides a way to write files to the disk. The only ways to write a file froma browser add-on is to use the downloads API which basically takes an URLand transfers the data verbatim to the downloads directory. Even if the downloadeddata can be generated internally by the add-on, it is not suitable to writing bigfiles like videos. The ability to write files from an add-on was present in Firefoxbut does not exists in Chrome nor Firefox (>= 57). Writing files from the add-on is necessary when downloading streams using protocols HLS and DASH.
It contains a build of the very popular ffmpeg video converter application. This is required by the add-on to create audio+video files when audio and video data are streamedseparately. This is also necessary if you want to perform any conversion operationon the downloaded media. Previously, you also had to download a converter for those operations on Firefox (and conversion/aggregation was not supported on other browsers).
