Similar to other password managers, Sticky Password is available as Paid and free versions. The paid version (multi-device edition) license (One year) will cost around $20 and this version will automatically sync your passwords and personal data among all devices like Windows, iOS, and Android.
In a similar way, for your Android device, you can download the Sticky password manager app from Google play and use your sticky account credentials ( login id & password that you created in the desktop version) to activate the app.
Everyone should have control over their passwords and personal data having his or her passwords stored in one encrypted and secure location across all devices. With more sync options than any other password manager, including cloud sync and local Wi-Fi, Sticky Password ensures that your passwords are synced up without your having to compromise on convenience or security. The password safe also supports biometric authentication on iOS and Android devices. Just one swipe of a finger verifies the identity of the owner of the password database.
Hi John,We support import from Roboform into Sticky Password on Windows. This lifetime deal is only for a single user, team version is available at Sticky Password website. Feel free to contact our support with any questions at [email protected]
Sticky Password also lets you enable 2FA. This feature adds an extra layer of security to your Sticky Password account by asking you to input a randomly generated code along with your master password to access your data. To be able to use 2FA, you need to install Google Authenticator.
When I reconnected my USB flash drive to my PC, all the newly saved passwords were synced between my PC version of Sticky Password and my portable USB version. This made it really simple to keep both versions of Sticky Password updated with my latest passwords, notes, and other data.
Sharing passwords with other Sticky Password users is also simple. However, I would like to see Sticky Password add an option to share secure notes like most other premium password managers do, including Dashlane.
I was surprised at how quick and easy the portable USB password manager feature was to set up. I plugged in my USB flash drive, followed the instructions, and the installation process completed within a matter of seconds. When I got to my work computer, I plugged in my flash drive, opened the Sticky Password app, entered my master password, and had instant access to all of my data.
Yes, Sticky Password does have a free version with a decent range of features, including unlimited password storage, a password generator, 2FA, secure notes, and a USB password manager.
Yes, Sticky Password is a secure password manager. It has a decent range of security features, including a zero-knowledge policy, 256-bit AES encryption (the same level of encryption used by banks and governments), and a range of two-factor authentication (2FA) options, such as compatibility with 2FA apps like Google Authenticator, and Touch ID for mobile devices.
Sticky Password is the award winning password manager with features such as automated login, automatic form filling, password generator and secure password sharing, and it protects your data with industry-standard AES-256 encryption coupled with your master password or biometric authentication (e.g. fingerprint).
Sticky Password creates the strongest possible passwords and stores them behind multiple layers of protection. Your password manager database is encrypted with powerful encryption algorithms, including military-grade AES encryption.
I tried Sticky Password the last time it was offered here and it was a terrible password manager. Worse, however, was that it was extremely difficult to uninstall its browser add-ons. You will do a lot better with Roboform, Dashlane, LastPass, and other password managers.
I decided to submit my disagreement with your posting; I have been using this program ever since it was first offered free here. I liked it so much that I purchased its life-time license. I have never had any issues with browser extensions; I use Firefox and Sticky Password is not an extension in it. The program is available on my IPad; Iphone too; no trouble. I do not usually save passwords in my browser either as I rely on Sticky Password. So if you are reading this, give this program a try.
I was using LastPass for the last 15 years, but they recently decided to not allow you to synch with your mobile device (or vise versa) unless you pay an annual premium. I will try Sticky PW for another couple days and then pay the modest $29.95 lifetime subscription rate. So far this software works as well as LastPass, but allows me to synch ALL my devices to one account. So far I am very happy with it.
I also have used the give away version a long time ago and purchased a life-time license. I have used Firefox for over a year now and I have had no trouble at all on my Win10 Pro Computer. It works on my IPad too but I have had a little trouble there but nothing to cmplain about. Yes, I use Firefox on my IPad.
Just to add to that, Mardel. Have even been using Sticky on 64 bit version of Microsoft Edge. Works great with no crashes. Same as on my Android phone. Do not understand what happened, or why, to that Johnny computer, other than it being a 2 yr old comment. Even so have used Sticky for past 3 years with no issues.Good to hear it works on an Ipad too.
I have been using this with life time updates for the last 3 years. The software is brilliant, you can set the software to lock the database so no one can see it if you leave the computer, mine is set to 30 seconds, then you have to insert your password before you can unlock it. You can choose where you want the database to be held, I use the cloud, with an encrypted backup on my computer. I automatically logs me into websites with my username and password every time without failing once.I have tried using other software before this and never rated any of them. This I give full marks, its brilliant at what it does, and I highly recommend it to anyone.
Moreover, there is a portable version of this application, so you can carry it around in your pendrive. You can also import data from other password managers. For people strictly concerned about privacy, there is a local sync option available, so your data is never sent to the cloud.
Flexible SynchronizationTo start with, the Synchronization feature I was able to install Sticky Password Premium on multiple computers in my network. In turn, I was able to access all my saved passwords from any of the computers since the program supports Wi-Fi and local networks.
VerdictIf you are tired of remembering all your password and want a solution that also provides a way to secure your saved passwords, then you should consider Sticky Password Premium. The program will even make your life easier with its synchronization options across multiple devices.
i used to use norton identity for my password manager in the past. this works much better. works in any browser (norton stopped working in IE for me) and finds almost every login/password area.I still have norton and sticky password running at the same time and sticky always works better.i have been using this program for about 2 years.
Sticky Password uses end-to-end, military-grade AES-256 encryption comparable to that used by other password managers, making it near-impossible for hackers to reveal your saved password. The company also uses a zero-knowledge policy, meaning that your master password is never stored on its servers and that only somebody with your master password can access your data. Sticky Password also allows you to enable extra security measures like biometric login (using your fingerprints to log in) on iPhone and Android devices, and two-factor authentication, although it only supports that via one-time code-generation app Google Authenticator. Other password managers support USB security keys for two-factor authentication, which are more secure.
Sticky Password creates and remembers strong passwords for all your accounts and types them for you. Military grade encryption ensures absolute hack-proof security for all your logins, credentials and credit cards. You only need to remember 1 master password and enter a 2 factor authentication to use sticky password on a new device.
Our licenses are retail and not OEM hence, they are installable on any compatible device and can be reinstalled unlimited number of times even after a hardware change. Since they bind to a person and not to the device, you are also free to transfer this license to a completely different device. An OEM license on the other hand, is illegal without an accompanying COA or Certificate of Authenticity. OEM licenses are only installable on a single device as it tends to attach to the hardware making the system difficult to upgrade as the key persists even after installation of a new system. Some OEM licenses are locked to a specific brand of hardware and will produce an error if installed on a different hardware. 2ff7e9595c
